I "tried" to escape ipower in the spring of 2007, it had turned into a real nightmare, but kept them as a Registration Service Provider for several domains; big mistake.

One domain, which had had hosting canceled in '07, was still being charged annually for hosting. Finding out that the front office had been paying the bill, I called ipower. The client will get about $45 back from the 2009 renewal, but that's it as ipower says they "have no record of the cancellation," and apparently no records at all about customer activity.

I have had a nightmare with iPower and was signing up with someone else. I had to call to check on something and heard the ipower music! I asked it FATCOW was associated with them.....they said it is their siter company. BEFORE SIGNING UP with ANYONE....check to see who they are associated with!

They are doing the same FAT lie about uptime. They are posting all over the web that they have 100% uptime. WOW! Isn't there SOMETHING illegal about this sort of behavior?!

I was actually thinking about creating a website called ipowersucks.com and have it hosted by them, lol. I googled ipowersucks and found this site, and decided to share something that will make you all feel better. I have recorded my last 5 conversations with Ipower tech support and would like to share them with you all. I promise that you will enjoy them!

We have been having problems for sometime with iPower. They have been hosting our business accounts. After being down for TWO days we moved our business account. We have lost about a week on our business now. I called....NO refund. NO....NOTHING!

They absolutely do not care at all no matter HOW much trouble they cause.

The advice here DID help us to get control of our domain names....thank God!
