difficult to cancel

Ipower cost me a client. Ipower cost me a lot of time. An ipower tech support agent yelled at me for no reason (they must be having bad days). I'm very tech savy and all I did was ask him a question. Rather than get into the details of those horrible days I'll touch on another issue, Ipower makes it extremely difficult for me to make them stop billing me! I switched to bluehost, which has been a great service so far, they are recommended. So during the switch I had to talk to a tech support guy because they also made it difficult to switch to a new host, anyway, I asked him to remove my information from their records so I wouldn't be billed the next time around. They wrote and said I cannot be removed unless I call billing support. So that I did and was put on hold for 2 HOURS! I can't deal with that so I wrote them an email and they responded saying that I must call them to cancel my billing cycle. Isn't this illegal? What can I do?

Call your credit card company and ask them to chargeback the charges. Ask that they deny any future charges from iPower hosting.

Difficult to Cancel - Illegal Charging

We left I-Power back in July 07. Bought our own server and pay a monthly fee for it to be in a secure environment. Thought the headaches were all behind us. The server is Great. Ipower just charged us again. Long phone time, take a ticket number. When will it end.???????

We will now have to cancel our credit card.

It took forever to get our domains transfered and we never could get all of them.

IPOWER SUCKS

IpowerWeb sucks and is a horrible hosting company. They hate and despise their customers and the support people are clueless. I am moving to a new hosting company tomorrow. Should have done it earlier before they charged me for a 1 year renewal. Spent over 3 hours on the phone with them trying to get my website back up. They kept on trying to tell me my website was not connected to the MYSQL database. No duh because your dam server database keeps craping out. 3 times today it went down and I had to keep sending e-mails to them to reset it. It would be up a few hours then go down again. Over 10 time this past month. Ipower sucks big time. Finally the guy says he need to transfer the issue to someone that understands it better. Another IPOWER clown-what a loser and idiot. If you are considering IPOWER don't. You are better off just burning your cash or giving it to a homeless person.
