The New and Screwed IPower Servers

Special web hosting offer - LIMITED TIME ONLY

I have two websites with Ipower. Both with subsites and themes, as well as databases. After the "transition" to the new servers the FrontPage Extensions were corrupted and it took two weeks for the "tech support" to get it half way fixed. This is after they had to erase my website and I had to reload from my back up copy. While making effort to reload the subsites I got a server error message. After a week of going back and forth on a new complaint ticket with Ipower I'm told that "The new servers do not support subsites.". That is not an improvement of service, that's a reduction of service. I can't access my database admin so I'm sure my blog archive is lost. So the transition to the new server screwed my website, they delete my website to "fix" the FP extensions, and then I'm told that something as simple as having a subsite isn't supported, when they were for years? I'm leaving Ipower and telling all my friends who have websites with them to do the same. For now I have a link on my home page that points visitors to a google search "Ipower transition FrontPage problems". So my visitors can see how many people are complaining about that company. Seems fitting to blow the whistle on Ipower while still being hosted with them. I doubt if I will get a refund for the renewal for the second website I have with them that just got charged automatically. Oh, after you leave Ipower double check your credit card balances, they have been known to charge old customers after the accounts were cancelled. I'm putting a stop payment to Ipower on my card.

I'm in the same boat...My site is down as I type this. Nothing new there. I've been a customer for about 4 years and I am not renewing my account with them. The last couple of months have been ridiculous and I'm done waiting on the phone someone to (un)help me.
