On Sept. 26th, iPower said they upgraded their MySQL servers to speed things up.

Now my wordpress blog site on iPower gets disconnection problems ever 5 minutes. And it's so slow now. To post, sometimes it takes 2 minutes. And the worst part...imagine a long news post and then you get the "Forbidden...can't post on this server" or even the "can't connect to __domain___ipowermysql.com" page. Even their technical support people noticed it was slow but said that they are probably working on it and doesn't know why things are going so sluggish.

I have not had a problem for many years until this year...right after the v-deck change...now I feel like these small problems are starting to escalate.
